MailChimp has very kindly released an excellent plugin that hooks into your Google Analytics account to display your website statistics in your Dashboard. Analytics360° also ties into your MailChimp account to track your newsletter / email effectiveness and mashes up this information in relation to blog post and newsletter frequency – brilliant!
n.b. You do not need a MailChimp account to make use of this (but its recommended!)
From a client point of view, I have made a decision to include this with all my future client installs of WordPress and have begun using this on EminentStyle.com.
I am pleased to announce that FreeStyled has gone live. Profiling the best soccer freestylers from across the globe they are aiming to be the no.1 freestyle site on the web.
Using the latest web standards and methodology to design and code the site, Freestyled taps in to the social video site YouTube (utilising the api) adding a depth of content unavailable years ago. Take a look.

On May 1st I took part in the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) Reboot, completely redesigning the appearance of my personal tech blog. The CSS Reboot takes place every year and is a day when designers across the world re-launch their sites focussing on CSS, design, usability and accessibility. While I was happy with the result, the design was only probably 70% finished and still now with further improvements to the layout, I am still not satisfied. Over the last few days I have made improvements to the comments system and have polished up some of the rougher edges to a WordPress theme I am calling ‘Satin’. Take a look.
